HEY ALL CSS GG's
thankyou so much for bothering to check the blog
i have some very very important and VITAL info for u all.
U all noe that there is a camp from the 24th to 25th of nov
this blog post is mainly to:
-breif u ppl abt the camp
-inform u all abt the stuff u have to bring
-and tell u all impt stuff abt the camp.

DAY1
Reporting time will be 9am SHARP!
Reporting attire will be polo tee, school shorts (no other shorts or fbt's) and trackshoes
Once u all arrive at school u all would be broken up into patrols
Soon later some money will be given to each patrol to buy the stuff you need to make your own lunch.Some time will also be given to brainstorm about the stuff you need to buy.You have to make a balanced diet consisiting of fruits and vegetables.
Your cooking will have to consist 2 of these
-boiling
-baking
-steaming
-stewing
-frying or grilling

After leaving school and buying all the stuff you need you will be given 1 and a half hours to prepare your lunch and lay out the table. You will be assessed on your cooking, safety, cleanliness and how nicely u layout your table.You will then have to host the teachers and some others by showing the theme of your food and serving them some of your food. Through this u will be given the cook and hostess badge.

Then duties will be assigned and should be carried out. Pls be reminded that your patrols will be assessed on everything that u do.

Then there will be a first aid talk and emergency drills. There will be a hands on works on how u treat minor injuries and sprains and how u use the components of a first aid kit.

Then we will go HIKING!
and thats all for DAY1

DAY2

Once u awake there will be PT (just a teeny little bit of exercise)
then there will be GAMESSSS!

LATER... there will ba a talk by mrs loh on enterprising skills
Then there will be a overall cleaning and then u all will pack up all of your stuff.

THEN there will be a session for reflections and PRIZES will be presented for the best patrol and the best camper

BEST PATROL: should be very bonded
must not have any clicks among the patrol
no bickering
the whole grp should be punctual
have the most patrol points

BEST CAMPER: should be enthusiastic
always punctual
considerate
show initiative at all times.
and so on.....


THE PACK LIST

-sleeping bag
-torchlight
-1 litre water bottle
-2 school based tee-shirts
-1 pair of shorts
-1 set of sleeping attire
-1 set of cutlery
-1 plate and 1 mug
-a pair of bathing shoes (slippers)
-poncho/raincoat/umbrella
-insect repellent
-rags and newspaper
