Alternatively, you can meet us at 8.50 at JE control station.
Have to meet cause we have to sign in and out as a company, and fill in some details.

Anyway, back to school..

-Artist Badge

Please refer to the details below on what is required from you girls in order to get the badge okayy.
For the Sec 1s,
Remember that Accident Prevention Badge i've told you about?
I'm assuming that you girls have started working on it cos it's been a long time since i've given you the guidelines for this badge.
Below is for the benefit of those who have yet to complete it
-precautions when using gas electrical appliances, kerosene stoves, naked lights and open fires.
-Special precautions to take in the house when with small children and old people.
-ways of preventing accidents when boating and bathing, public transport (cars and cycles) and in highrise buildings
-Special precautions outdoors during storms and other hazards.
How? gather essential info from the Net. Summarise them.
Print out the info. Paste them on coloured paper.
Include pictures to make your research interesting.
Decorate your handmade scrapbook and fasten the papers together (:
Artist Badge
All drawings are to be done on a piece of drawing block paper.
-Coloured artpiece of an imaginative, landscape, figure or plant drawing.
-Do a vegetable print such that there is a pattern formed.
How? cut vegetable into half.
U'll get the cross-section. Immerse your cut vegetable into a coloured paint.
Stamp it onto your drawing block.
suggested vegetables : lady finger, onion, tomato
Reader's Badge
-read a book by a local author and another book by a Western author
-do a typewritten book review on each.
Speaker's Badge
-Find a poem or a short text and memorise it. On the test day, you're gona say it from memory.
-Prepare a 2min speech of an interesting experience you've had during this June holiday
(this is tested like oral conversation)
Total Defence Badge
-Explain Total Defence and its necessity.
Writer's Badge
-write an original story between 1000 to 2000 words.
-write your OWN short poem.
-Both should be typewritten with the font Times New Roman and size 12. Please do some effective paragraphing.
On behalf of the EXCOs, i really apologise for this chunk of work.
Initially your work is meant to be given in portions however due to last minute cancellation of CCA sessions, this can't be avoided.
If any of you are in doubts, please raise them.
We'll be glad to help you.
As for the work above, we do expect to see an acceptable standard in terms of quality and the effort you put in.
Please get these things done ASAP, before school reopens.
