What's up everyone??
How's today's training?
If you have forgotten what we've done (aiyoyo) this afternoon, here's a recap;

1)Cookie payment collection
2)Handball competition amongst mixed groups ( not amongst your patrols)
3)West Division Day planning in your respective activities
4)Proficiency Badges matters ( Sec1s)

Should you have any feedback, please direct them to my email address.
Especially on the West Division Day. If you're still clueless as to when is this big day happening (we are hosting this BIG day btw), it is on 21 Nov 2009. To those of you whose activities require beforehand preparations like for eg, the statement sneakers & the food preparation activity, please come up with a detailed draft indicating ALL your plans by 3rd Nov 2009. Excos will give you the necessary guidance. We will help you as much as we can.

As for the cookie payment, please be reminded that everyone is required to buy 5 cookie tins (choose from either chocolate cream/cookie crunch with hazelnut) from the guides room. This is by order from Mrs Loh. Send in your finalised orders to my email address by this Thursday 8pm.

For the Sec1s who have yet to complete your Collectors' Badge, the submission dateline is this Friday's CCA training. So pleaaaseee, get this done and over with asap for your badge(:

Today's training aside.
We need help from representatives (any volunteers?) from each level from the different streams (Express, NA, NT) to email me your post-exam acitivities. This is important for all of us cos' we wanna see whether there are any suitable activities that can be included in the PNA form. The PNA form is CRUCIAL to determine what award we'll win for this year. So please, anyone from each level and from the different streams, send in to me the post-exam activities by Thursday 8pm. It would be at the last resort for us to random pick any of you to do this on Friday's training if no submission is received.

Eg lower sec reservoir walk/clean-up
Sec 3 Innovation course/financial literacy

In preparation of the end-of-year Guides Camp, we would like every patrol to come up with a series of cheer. At least 3 cheers for each patrol for the campfire in Day 2. Work on how you may make your cheer original, funky and how everyone can play a part in your cheer presentation. You will be accessed on these areas (yes, there'll be awards given out!)

1)clarity (be heard! Bring in the noise, bring down the house!!! )
2)teamwork ( the roles patrol members played during the cheer)
3)originality (how interesting is your ability to make the cheers on your own. Guidelines: you can come up with your own/use melodies from songs/change song lyrics)
4)stage presence (make use of the open space given to you. Don't clump in a particular area)

Alright, it's a lengthy post i know.
Still in doubt? Email me at leanisya@gmail.com

See you,
