UPDATED DETAILS FOR 28 DEC MEETING
Attire
1) Make sure your hair is NEAT AND TIDY. Only for this time round, we allow you to not tie 2 plaits. However, if I still see any strands of hair still flying around and not in place/not combed properly/long fringes (fringes below eyebrow) not PINNED UP NEATLY, we will not hesitate to take the necessary actions.
Guides Uniform (for goodness sake, IRON your uniform with spray starch)
1)Blouse must be tucked in until the whole perimeter of belt can be seen.
2) Iron your scarf and beret.
3) Those who came for the December holiday trainings, remember to sew your proficiency badges & those who went for Camp Challenge, please sew your Camp Challenge patch on the sleeve where you put your Total Defence Badge.
4) Ensure all award badges (Total Defence Badge, Bronze/Silver Guides Badge/World Badge is put at the correct corner of the uniform.
5) Your pair of white canvas shoes must be CLEAN, WHITE (go and wash or scrub it clean!) and NOT TORN in ANY PART.
6) Socks are to cover the ankle (Be thankful that we don't ask you to wear the ones which are 4-fingers high)
Suggestion(s)
1) To assist the juniors better, PLs may take the initiative to meet your patrol earlier than the fall-in time to check on their uniform.
Preparatory Work
1)To the lower sec/those without boots, please bring $30 to purchase your boots.
2)To those who were absent during the December holiday trainings, please produce a letter certified by your parents with their signature and contact number included. To those who were absent due to family vacation, simply ask your parents to declare the days that you were overseas will do. Also include signature and contact number. If any of you are unsure as to when the trainings are, please browse through the Archives of this blog.
3)Bring writing materials (notebook and pencil box, highly recommended)
4)Bring water bottle (You need this, trust me)
5)You MUST have breakfast before coming for the training.. MUST MUST MUST MUST MUST.
