Hi guides, so the excos actually took time to read ur reflections and here are my reply to some of your reflections. (We do take reflections seriously)
THINGS HATED ABOUT CCA:
REFLECTION: Socks
REPLY: first of all, i have no idea by what this person meant. seriously, couldn't u have wrote in detail -.- Anw, i shall just infer that this person meant she hates wearing short socks. Okay, we are a UG therefore we are suppose to have basic discipline. Socks is the min requirment like srsly. So i am sry but we excos can't do anything abt it.
REFLECTION: Long roll call
REPLY: okay, to have shorter roll calls it's simple. wear your attire properly. Most of the time we spend time deciding on whether a person's socks length is acceptable or not. So if all of u wear long socks then yes roll call will be much faster. But still, i will take this into consideration and try my best to take attendance faster next time:)
REFLECTION: Countdown too short
REPLY: noted. we will give longer countdowns from here on:)
REFLECTION: To have more games during cca/ have games every cca
REPLY: uhm. we are a UG not a game society haha. we will try our best to have games but games every cca is impossible. hope all of u will understand that we are a UG so yah do understand.
REFLECTION: Boring badges
REPLY: okay, the thing is the excos don't decide on the badges. The previous batch of excos and the teachers do. so yah. but we will try to have more fun badges in near future:)
REFLECTION: hate doing hw for CCA
REPLY: this is probably a sec 1, anw, we can't let u guys do everything during cca time. we have alot of things to do and therefore we have no choice. yet, we do try our best to give as much time as possible during cca to do. so yah do understand.
REFLECTION: hate grp work cause no idea on what to do
REPLY: the excos will try to make instructions clearer next time:)
REFLECTION: Punctual dismissal timing
REPLY: noted. from now on every CCA will end at 5.30pm on the dot.
REFLECTION: stand for long time under the sun
REPLY: actually we never make u guys stand under the sun, unless it's intensive marching which is very rare. haha u are in a UG so ENDUREEEE:) but still, we will try our best to have lesser marching under the sun
REFLECTION: tooo muvh games
REPLY: noted, will have less games
REFLECTION: GG is ver clique oriented
REPLY: the excos are trying our best to break the cliques by giving more bonding time. we are trying, hope u see it:)
REFLECTION: EXCOS scolding/nagging
REPLY: uhm, we are humans too. At times when the company gets out of control we reall lose our patience. This can be avoided if you guys put yourselves in our shoes.
REFLECTION: Lack of discpline
REPLY; We are trying our best to instill discipline really >.<
REFLECTION: Hate it when excos complain abt their lives n compare themselves to us. Eg." Eh, u all complain so much, u know the excos stayed up until 1 am to do this anot etc"
REPLY: first of all, this comment is really rude. can u please phrase your comment in a nicer way? Anw, when the excos do this it's not that we are complaining. we just try to make you guys see from our perspective.
REFLECTION: Too less water breaks
REPLY: we can't pamper u guys with water breaks so do uderstand. yet, sometimes the excos might get carried away so do ask us if you guys really really need water breaks
REFLECTION: Very pressurising
REPLY; Noted, will try to make it less pressurising:)
REFLECTION: Talking in their own languages
REPLY: whoever you are, you will not be unheard. haha i agree with this person. Guides, SG is a multi racial country so always tune into channel 5 and not suria/vasantham/channel8 haha thank youxD
REFLECTION: long scoldings/nagging
REPLY: noted, will try to kp it short next time:)
REFLECTION: Harsh punishments
REPLY: punishments are there for a reason. Punishments are solutions to bad attitude so sorry. Harsh punishments will continue.
REFLECTION: excos yourselves don't follow the rules thn how expect company to follow?
REPLY: oh whoa, uhm this is definitely smth tt we didn't expect. Okay, we don't know what you are referring too but excos are following the rules. if we hadn;t, thn frm now on we will. *pinky swear*
REFLECTION: Our marching not as gd as a certain UG *ehem*
REPLY: HAHA i literally lmao. okay we'll try to improve standard of marching!
REFLECTION: Bias during attire check
REPLY; the excos are not bias. really. I will have my third eye opened the next attire check. No one can escape the eyes of justice XP haha
okay, so that's it my fans. haha JKJK. anw, many of u had written really sweet comments and it made my day :')As for the individual exco comments, the lvl ICs will explain to u if they want to alright?:) Overall, i think u guys expect too much frm the excos ._. so yah, we are humans too do understand we have reasons behind everything we do so yah. we do do take the reflections srsly and for those who gave one liners, it just shows so much about your attitude towards guides.
