for sec1s:
since you guys don't have the company name tape yet, sew your first badge 3 fingers spacing from the top of your right sleeve. (your right sleeve can fit up to 12 proficiency badges)
NOTE: right sleeve is for proficiency badges. left sleeve is for other badges like total defence, civil defence etc.
start your first badge on the right of the middle crease of your sleeve, leaving a one finger spacing from this middle crease. if you can't see the middle crease clearly, iron your uniform well. the first proficiency badge should be 3 fingers below the top of the sleeve, and one finger to the right of the middle crease.
the next badge that follows will be one finger spacing below the first badge. this second badge should also be one finger spacing to the right of the middle crease, same as the first badge.
so subsequently, your first three badges on the right side of your right sleeve should be aligned in a neat row, all one finger spacing below each other, all one finger spacing from the middle crease.
you can only fit 3 badges in a vertical row, so once you get your 4th badge onwards, you'll have to start sewing from the left of the middle crease.
PS: (ONLY FOR 4TH BADGE ONWARDS)
4th, 5th and 6th badges will be sewn to the left of the middle crease. no need to leave any spacing from the middle crease, but there should be a one finger spacing from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd badges since the first row of badges was one finger away from the middle crease.
(not neccessary for you guys to know this now!!)
yup, it should look something like this (but for sec1s, you should only have my middle row).
any questions, ask your PLs/any sec3s/any sec2s/excos :)
for sec3s:
you guys should know where to sew your three new proficiency badges. if you have filled up 3 vertical rows already, you can now make a last new row on the leftmost of the sleeve.
as for your civil defence badge, it should be sewn on the left sleeve, below the total defence pin badge.
the rightful position of your total defence badge, one finger spacing below company name tape, and on the middle crease.
and your civil defence badge should be to one finger spacing below your total defence badge, and one finger spacing on the left of your middle crease.
it should look like this when finished sewing :)
thats all.
please ask if you have any queries, don't sew it wrongly alright?
