Hi guides,

For the clause 2 all of u will have to write an invitation. Please denote it nicely and put in alot of effort. Date line is next tue. Please ask any exco if u have any qns

details for your task: 

it has to be formal, not sloppy eg. using foolscap to do.

this is the criteria, as stated on girl guides singapore website: 

Write letters:
3.1          Inviting to a party or similar event;
3.2          Inviting a friend to stay;
3.3          Accepting an invitation, refusing an invitation (one to be formal).
3.4          Thanking after a visit.

so you can choose any of the 4 topics and just write one only. 

you can choose who you want to write to, and take note of basic grammar/vocab since this is a written task. for the format, you guys are expected to research and check up on suitable invitation formats. make sure it looks formal/real.
take note that it should be at least 100 words. for 3.1 and 3.2 you have to write details about the activity you are inviting the person to as well as the reasons why you want the person to be there. for 3.3, you have to state the reasons why you are accepting their invitation and why you want to go for the event which you are invited to. for 3.4, you have to talk about the event which you went for and describe how you benefited from it/enjoyed it.
