Here are some stuff to take note of:

  • What you are to do at the photobooth: Take photos of the students with props and/or ethnic costumes then send to Xue Lin. Or Lee Jia, Kennis, Winnie, or Syakirah.
  • What you are to do at the info booth: Explain to the students of the various races and their cultures, festivals, food etc,  let them try the clothes and food and henna
  • A reminder: please wear your ethnic costumes tomorrow!
  • Do promote our booth!
  • You are to report to the canteen 15 minutes before your shift to set-up the booth, our booth is beside the band room, at the metal tables
  • Once you are done with the booth at the end of recess, pack up and the I/C of the shift is to give it to the next In Charge at their class, this only concerns the I/C of Shifts 1, 2 & 5
  • The next In Charge is to hold onto the things until you end your shift and pass it to the next In Charge
  • Do remember to bring you props that you have made at home, or the postcards that we can give out on Monday!
  • Those under the photo booth, you can take the pictures at places such as:
          1. The wall opposite the band room / wall of the staircase going up to the hall
          2. Carpark scenery next to band room
          3. Canteen scenery
          4. Plants near the pull up bars at the canteen
          5. Parade Square scenery
  • The photos should be taken with a good quality camera, or a smartphone with a resolution which is decent enough. Some smartphones which are okay to use are iPhone 4/4S/5/5S/5C, Samsung Note 3, S4/5, Sony Xperia Z, etc.etc.
  • The photos taken are encouraged to be taken with the props we have made. Also try to encourage them to wear the ethnic costumes displayed at the Info Booth with their friends and take a picture.
  • Do inform the people who have had their pictures taken that their photos can be found on the Facebook Page: CSS Girlguides Photobooth
  • At the end of your shift or at the end of the day before 12am, please send your pictures taken to Xue Lin. Or Winnie, Lee Jia, Kennis or Syakirah.
  • At the Info Booth, there will be a henna drawing corner for $0.50. You can draw for them if you refer to pictures and is confident enough. However, if you are not confident enough, DO NOT DRAW FOR THEM, you can instead offer them to draw shapes / write their names
  • At the Info Booth, there will also be some food such as muruku and other ethnic foods. You can give them out to the student body for free :) But whilst stocks last!

All the best for tomorrow, and do have fun too! You guys can also take pictures and eat food, just dont eat all hehe :DD

See yooouuuu!
